    In town for business day trip.    Found this little gem with Amazing Midle Eastern food.   Wonderful flavor, fresh and expertly prepared on Monday afternoon at 2pm.   Two thumbs up.    I'll be back

    Stumbled across this market while in the area & so glad I did! We didn't dine in the restaurant, but just went into the market & ordered a variety of the pastries. There were no labels on the different offerings so I'm not totally positive what they were called, but they had halvah and a number of different small pastries that seemed to be variations on baklava. We ordered the different pastries (some with walnuts and some with pistachios) and all were very good. There was one that looked like a little bird's nest made with noodles & it had the same baklava-type flavor, but with an extra crispy and unexpected texture from the noodles.  All were pretty one-note sweet, but nevertheless very satisfying! Delicious little afternoon snack & definitely worth a stop!  The market also features a very large variety of middle-eastern specialty food items.

    Lot's of delicious food. You won't leave hungry. TIP: If you can't stand freakin' INSANE levels of heat - don't eat the grilled peppers!

    I visited Boise last month from Cali and was dying for some good authentic food. I passed by Ishtar and boy I am glad I did!! This is a little piece of heaven. I fell in love with their chicken Shawerma wrap  it is like I was eating a CSW from downtown Beirut. None of that half burger half shawerma stuff! None of that half taco half shawerma crap lol! This is what Chicken Shawerma is like! This is how it's supposed to be! And I am a Mediterranean food expert, this is by far best food I ever tasted in the states. I have been to at leat 10 places in Anaheim, CA where it's the capital of Syrian Lebanese food in the state; Ishtar is better!!!

    Great middle eastern food! So nice to have this locally to go to! Friendly service, they make you feel at home, very casual facility. Very authentic food! So glad my family and I got to come here to try the food and celebrate my uncle's birthday!
